almost done h22 itb
just a couple questions ....
im almost done my spacing for the h22 (custom flange and straight runners.)
already thinking ahaed for tunning and was curious about dsm 450cc injectors...are they gonna be way to big ..i ask cause one of my lude injectors is on its way out ...and there soo cheap to buy dsm blue tops ..
just to clarify i need low impenance right
thanks

ive always wondered if the twm were too big my self ...i thikn for the mods that can be daily driven 50mm is too much
and at 42 it is a compromise but my mods will be lite so i think its a good trade off

still working on the runners ...total from flange to tip will be around 7inches ...its short but i can always add on
gonna try different length and see how it does on the dyno

My personal opinion is that 50mm is too big... for a daily driven car...
I think that's why itb's get a bad rap as being undrivable on the street... because people buy huge race 50mm setups meant for a super high cr, super high rev limit race motors and wonder why they have problems before 5-7k rpms on a stock motor...
becuase the size of the butterfly's has a direct effect on the velocity of incoming air and hence the optimum rev range...
42mmm sould be good on the street and negate any tq losses...the size would keep the upper rpm range down in reasonable territory...
and keep in mind that if you want them a little bigger.. they can be bored out just like honda TB's...
Good luck though bro... I'm very interested to see pics and whatever info you share... can't let the D & B guys have all the fun...
