Default almost done h22 itb

just a couple questions ....
im almost done my spacing for the h22 (custom flange and straight runners.)

already thinking ahaed for tunning and was curious about dsm 450cc injectors...are they gonna be way to big ..i ask cause one of my lude injectors is on its way out ...and there soo cheap to buy dsm blue tops ..

just to clarify i need low impenance right

They will be fine if you have something to tune them down apex, uberdata etc.

i think my tuner uses TECHTOM or somthing like that ...

Arunt those only 42mm butterflies?

I know that TWM uses 50mm on theres, Im wondering what the power gains or loss will be

ive always wondered if the twm were too big my self ...i thikn for the mods that can be daily driven 50mm is too much

and at 42 it is a compromise but my mods will be lite so i think its a good trade off

still working on the runners ...total from flange to tip will be around 7inches ...its short but i can always add on

gonna try different length and see how it does on the dyno

talking with my tuner he has done a few diy itb and siad judging from power curve they were all a little on the long side ....hes telling me to keep it shorter than most

My personal opinion is that 50mm is too big... for a daily driven car...

I think that's why itb's get a bad rap as being undrivable on the street... because people buy huge race 50mm setups meant for a super high cr, super high rev limit race motors and wonder why they have problems before 5-7k rpms on a stock motor...

becuase the size of the butterfly's has a direct effect on the velocity of incoming air and hence the optimum rev range...

42mmm sould be good on the street and negate any tq losses...the size would keep the upper rpm range down in reasonable territory...

and keep in mind that if you want them a little bigger.. they can be bored out just like honda TB's...

Good luck though bro... I'm very interested to see pics and whatever info you share... can't let the D & B guys have all the fun...

had it made for me ...done on a milling machine ...only cost 75 bucks CAD but its very basic....just ports and holes for bolts ...

3/8 t66??? somthing, aluminim for a peice 4x20 inches
