What is the capability of a turbo Non Vtec SOHC Motor
I was thinking of going turbo on a 89 Hatch with a SOHC Motor that is Non Vtec. The block will have the following, block built with low compression aries pistons
and rings with eagle rods. The head has a simple port and polish. What would be the potential with this setup of a motor? All opinions will be accounted for.

u need to list what block. is it the d16a6 engine or something else. if its the a6 then it has asmuch potential as a d16z6 or y8. just no vtec. also why use the low comp pistons? 9:1:1 to 10:1:1 is perfect for a street car. just need a good tune for the higher numbers. expect to see 200whp with a good sized turbo and 10-12psi.
