Default F22 manual tranny to a h22?

OK- heres the deal, Ive got a chance to pick up a free f22 tranny.

I was wondering if it will bolt up to my h22? I thought it did, but i wanted to ask the experts.

What are the differences of this unit? Im considering picking it up as a spare if my tranny ever goes.

You can use the F22 tranny, but it'll be longer gears than an H22 tranny. It will be good for boost if you ever go there. Oh and better gas mileage, but lack of go power.

This year we swithed to an H22 tranny with Qauife's LSD, however last season we reaced with the F22 Tranny spinning the tires all the way down the track to a 12.2 at 5830 ft above sea level. It would be a good back up for free. Pics comming soon.

if the tranny is free, i would do it too. you're planning on boosting anyway, and that tranny has good gears for it too. it will bolt up, but you might have to change the intermediate shaft.
