it will be surprisingly quiet, assuming you are turbo.

i have a full 3" exhaust with high flow cat, resonator and magnaflow muffler. Its quieter than i expected, and sounds great

When cruising there is none of that drone that you often hear in cars with aftermarket exhausts, in fact when cruising you dont notice the exhaust at all

i have a dsm, but i guess the concept is similar. i did a 3" turboback with open wastegate, with just a 3" offset in/out muffler from summit, and it is pretty quiet. no cat, resonator, etc.

Yep, a turbo + high flow cat + resonator + muffler (all 3") will sound awesome and not loud either.

How loud would a full 3" downpipe and exhaust, no cat or resonator, with Magnaflow turbo muffler be?

I have a 3 inch exhaust, 2.5 inch DP with only a Magnaflow muffler and its not too bad... but this weekend a weld just broke over the rear lower arm...and damn it was loud... I had to put my welder talents to the test loll !

I dont see how a full 3 inch with cat-resonator-muffler couldnt be quiet ???

yeha im running a 3in thermal with a High flow and a resonator.
Im hopping its going to be quiet. i dont care about the power loss.
Im also running a 3in E-cutout, so whenever i need the extra hp and noise i got it.

K this is what im going to try...... hopefully it works

down pipe, right into the 3" cat convertor, then 3" magnaflow muffler right into that.... with a down pipe....

and putting a fake stock muffler on the back to keep the pigs happy

has anyone done this ?
