Default dsm blue tip injector :(

think i can run the injectors without the cap and just them sticking inside the manifold? A couple of my caps on the actual injectors are cracked and i cant find any of the little caps that go on the tip. Rockingham is tomorow but if i can run the injectors without the caps then i guess i'm fine without them.

The caps just protect the pintles. You don't "need" them.

wow, 2 of my 4 dsm 450's dont have those little black caps that go on the end of the injector. i called the local mitsubishi dealership and the parts guy said that if its not o-rings, then they probably dont sell them individually from the injector. so its okay to run the injectors w/o those caps then???

yes its ok. I run one of my 450's without the cap. If the cap is cracked though I would just go ahead and remove the whole thing so the little pieces don't fall into your intake manifold.

ran perfect, 13.2 @ 111mph
bad thing is, at the track it rained for about 2 hours before, so i never got a chance to lower the tire pressure or actually run on a DRY TRACK!
only got to run 1 time.
