i just bought a 92 hatch and it has a GSR swap. My problem is it has 2 1/2 in. piping from the headers back and it has an apexi n1 muffler and it sound like pure crap. I was wondering if yall could help me out in finding a muffler that would produce a nice humm instead of really raspy sound.

You could get any muffler and it would still sound like crap. You dont have a cat and probably no resonator. Get atleast a resonator and your car will sound completely different.

It wont sound raspy, itll give it a lower tone.

 

just get a long resonator, the sound will improve and i think there fairly cheap too

 

what kind of resonator would u recommend

The kind that resonates...that's like asking what kind of 2% milk. Just go to your local exhaust shop and get a 22 incher.
