i have an 88 std hatch and i was leaving work the other day and it started missing like it had a fouled plug i kept driving and about 5 miles down the road i stopped and it died i got it started and it ran fine i drove another 3 miles and it got to the point that every time i push the gas peddle it would bog and would die i put new plugs in it and got it running but it still will not rev it will if u just easily push the gas peddle but if u give it any more than 1/4 throttle it bogs and will die the plugs get ll gased up like it is running rich. i checked the ecu it isn't throwing any codes it will idle fine just won't rev the only mods are ram air intake plug wires exhaust and i removed the top butterfly in the throttle body this stuff has been on their for at least 6 months so i don't think it had anything to do with it i am just wondering if anyone else has had this problem before.
