WEIRD white smoke. Compression check GOOD!!!
Here's the deal, LS/VTEC 11:1 je pistons, eagle rods, newly installed GSR cams... '89 model b16a1 head...
The PCV valve is like 3 weeks old and is already "Spongy" and had oil residue all over it... So I took it out and just vented the Crankcase to the atmosphere while trying to diagnose the prob.
And there's a significant amount of white smoke that comes out of the tailpipe... But COMPRESSION IS 240 ACROSS THE BOARD. :-(
So... What would cause that? Would running rich make it do that? U can put your hand over the exhaust tip and rev the engine up and there will be some kinda water or fuel or oil or something and it leaves a puddle under the exhaust tip if ut let it sit and warm up, etc.
I have no cat, but I dont think that matters. :-/
Anyhow, another thing I was trying to get some of that watery mess on a rag when my buddy was playing with the throttle so it would smoke, a couple times it tried to suck the rag in... just for a split second but u could tell it wasnt blowing OUT it was sucking IN... Is that normal???
Timing looks right... I really am lost on this one guys.

White smoke is usually coolant. You may have a blown head gasket, or something more serious like a cracked head, block, or sleeve.
which... would probably explain why I run such crappy times...
Pits inthe deck of the block like... 1/8" deep. :-( New block for me t/m tho. I just gotta get all the stuff to throw my internals in, bearings, rings, head bolts, etc. fun fun fun. :-)
