When i start the car up cold it jumps to about 70ish psi. As the car warms up it slowly goes down. After driving around for a bit to get it at normal operating temperature, then stopping and idling it's at like 10 psi. This can't be normal. Now i'm not leaking oil anywhere, i've checked everywhere. Oil feed, oil return, oil pan, etc are all not leaking. Anyone have any ideas. By the way what is the normal oil pressure at operating temperature?

 

Mine seems to sit around 17-18psi when hot @ around 900RPM, 750-800RPM drops to 16...

 

is this a freshing new built motor?

 

If its an older motor, the spacing between the bearings can be to big causing low oil pressure.
