Anyone had this problem?
My TDC sensor on my 2000 Si took a crap on me, and i have to get it replaced, anyone ever had this happen, how much do you think this will cost to fix?
i think it got wet or something when i washed the engine, or atleast it came on a couple of days after i sprayed down the engine, i didn't cover anythign up so that might ahve been the problem.

you have to be careful when cleaning your engine bay...
you have to be careful when cleaning your engine bay...
you do??
not really careful, just not stupid. and don't try to start it until it's sat there for like 2 hours at least. people want to rush things. you gotta let the motor dry before you try to start it.
I've cleaned the hell out of my friend's ITR swap, H22A swap, B16A swap, and my turbo LS swap, and never had a problem, and never covered anything up. just don't pressure wash the damn dizzy or anything.

about 90% of all connectors in the engine bay are water proof. If your sensor took a dump then check the connector near the engine mount and see if there is corrosion on it...
