Warranty Question on the ITR
I am taking my car in to get the engine looked at because she consumes 1 quart of oil every 1,000 miles
. I did a compression test and found the third cylinder is running really low. Do you think i should tell the dealer i did a compression test and here are the results or should i leave that out and see what they say?

Not sure if the dealer would void the damage due to the at home com. test. Can somebody shed some light on this?

depends on the dealer, depends on the situation, and unfortunately depends what you look like.
imo, to save yourself trouble, just let them diagnose whatever they want, and if they miss it, then bring it to their attention.

keep all your paper work from this point on to document every thing. I have never had any trouble with honda or acura dealerships, thats were I have always taken my cars since 1995.
I woulnt mention the compression test. At some point they will do there own.
