It's #13. I've tried hammering, it dosen't budge...

doesnt it have a groove to go on there?? try wiggling it back and forth

this thing is VERY tight. Wiggling dosen't work.

The pulley should slide in right? It's not like it's pressed fit, I don't think.

It's not pressed in. It's just been there for a while. Try to wiggle it side to side, take a rubber mallet and tap it. If your trying to put it on try a little bit of oil, should slide on. Theres only one way to install it b/c of the groove on the crank.

Is that the one with the little "key" in it? Thats a bioch to get off, very tight, i would imagine it would take some work to get it back on

Okay, I did manage to get it on. This is the full story...

I took this pulley off last November, when I started to rebuild this motor. When I took it off, I had NO trouble whatsoever.

When I tried to put it back on last night, it wouldn't go in very easily, so I used a hammer and a block of wood to put it on half way.

But half way in, it would not budge anymore. So I used a gear puller to pull it back out. This morning , I tried it again. This time, I used some oil to lube it up.

Again, it did not move freely, even with a hammer and a block of wood. But when it got to a certain point, it just poped in!
