97 EX auto to manual IM???
i am doing a auto to manual on my 97 EX.....i have all the parts needed....tranny, ecu, lines, starter, peddles....etc etc
just wondering if a manual IM and TB needed so i wouldn't have any idle problems? (due to the IACV differences)
for you guys that done this swap before.....please give me some info....
is there a way to wire the IACV/ECU differently differently or something?
thanks a lot

I just recently did the swap, but I'm still running my auto ecu and the auto IM. It runs normal right now but has no vtec engagement due to the check engine light from all the tranni sensor codes. But other than your ? I think the only way to resolve the problem is to get a manual IM and Iacv. If you use the manual ecu you will have idle issues, but just for now use the auto ecu if your still running the auto IM.

yes, the iacv lines on a auto tb are like a dx tb, completely different

I am going through the whole iacv problem right now. I am trying to salvage my auto tb and just bought a 2 pin iacv, but I also did a mini-me at the same time. I haven't got the iacv yet but it's on the way, I'll post when I get it on to see if it fits.
