Will a VX ECU work in a Si? Please Help!
My ECU got stolen out of my '92 Si (D16Z6) and I just want to know if the ECU out of a VX will work. Im pretty sure my ECU is an OBD1 3782-p28-A01. Does the VX use the p28? And if so are they compatible without modification? TIA! -Danny
never mind...i think that the ECU out of the VX is a p07! Someone correct me if I'm wrong! So the new question is will any p28 work in my car? TIA! -Danny
it will start but will run like a bag of ****. there are few differences, as in lean burn setting thus maps are setup for economy, very lean, uses wideband 5 - wire 02, which will not recognized 4wire 02, EGR valve or lack there of on the Si motor, 2.5k rpm vtec.

It's vtec-e y0.
Just go buy another p28. I see them going for around $100 shipped here in the classified. Sometimes a bit more.
