Default type r steering wheel

I was wondering if anyone was able to fit a civic or integra jdm type r steering
wheel on their '91 crx? I am thinking about putting one on, but don't know if it would fit. Also, does anyone know what company sells a quick disconnect hub for a crx as well? if not the type r steering wheel, i was planning to put the spoon steering wheel on. thanks for your time.

The quick disconnect hubs are not for the stock steering wheel. They are usually for the aftermarket companies. I know there is a quick release for Grant (5-bolt), Sparco/Momo(6-bolt) and Tekniq(different 6-bolt). Tekniq sells adapters for their wheels as well as Sparco/Momo wheels. Summitracing.com sells adapters for Grant wheels.

They usually range in price from $100-150, depending on the "street" or "race" model.

I'm not sure about the type-r wheels, sorry.

My suggestion, Dont do it. You have to do a couple of things to make it work, and mine had a tiny bit of play in it that i didnt feel comfortable at all with, I sold it and just got a momo instead. And liked that a whole lot better:

What did you use on the gauge cluster to cover up the stock redline? Is that like tape or a marker or something? That's a pretty cool idea..
