please help with timing???

Default please help with timing???

well parked my car in drive way, next thing came back to start the car and the car stated right away but ten seconds later it died and I did once more, same thing happpend. but after a couple of time it didn't start anymore. Check the timing and it looks like timming jumped a tooth, timming was a little loose. Could any other damage be add on to this situatino??? li ke a bent valves???

If you were parked and at low rpms most likely no
If you want to be sure remove valve cover remove cams , remove plugs & add air presure (80 psi minimun and see if you hear it leak out . carefull the crank WILL JUMP! If no air scapes they are Ok.

sounds more like a fuel problem or distributor.

It would have to jump about 4 or more teeth to hit something.

ive ran a car with it being off a tooth.
also a timing belt snapped on my d15b2 when my friend used to own it. took the head off and there was no sign of valve to piston contact.

if you look on the front of the engine (side), there is a small wheel. its called the timing belt tensioner. tighten it up dummy.

yeah I know. but yeah checked everything and now finally found the problem. It was a bad fuel pump.
