did you change your car to obd1 or did you just buy an obdo to obd1 piggy back harness?
is the the tranny your using cable or hydraulic. if its cable you will need to change the mechanical vss to electric and then wire in the 3 wires(+,-,vss signal to ecu)

I changed to obd1, I used both harness, obd0 and obd1, car is completely obd1, not only the harness at the ecu.

you need to wire up an electronic vss to your ecu. grab one from an obd1 civic. the ecu looks for a vss. vtec will not engage without it. i'm an eg guy but ive done several ef swaps but ive heard you can rig the cable in a electronic one so you dont have to get a different cluster. but im not too sure. but yea you need to wire up an electronic vss to your ecu.
