Default best location for shock senor and perimeter sensor

what are the best location to put these sensors.....

for the shock sensor: best place is the steering wheel column?

and the perimeter sensor/motion detector: under the center console?

Yeap, and the best thing I've found to do for shock sensors if you're really worried about being towed or your car being hit is to mount one up front under the dash area close to the middle of the car, and then splice in a 2nd shock sensor and mount it on the rear half of the car (underside of rear deck, etc). This way if it's a hit to the front or rear there is more chance of it being detected.
