best place for shock sensor?
Ive got mine bolted to the area inbetween the strut housing and the firewall on the drivers side....no problems. Aslong as its securely fastened to the metal chassis it should be fine.
I would recommend the firewall or the strut housing....somewhere in the front of the car that is nice and solid, as most attacks will be more toward this end of the car.
Actually the best location for a shock sensor is one that would be
centered in the vehicle so that there is not one area that is more
sensitive than another. Prob is that we always dont have that luxury. If you
can mount it ( according to manf directions) in the center of the car and extend
the harness back to the brain and set it up your golden.
