Default Quality Axles

Need to replace my right front axle for my 97 GSR. Did a search and noticed that some replacement axles would bust after just a few months.

Can anyone out there recommend some quality brand name axles or name the ones that broke on you?

Thanks

If the engine and drivetrain are mostly stock, rebuilt axles are fine.

Exactly. What mods do you have on your car?

Even the stock axles can take quite a bit of abuse if your drivetrain is pretty stock. Lots of power is okay if you ease into it.

I was using those Pep Boys lifetime replacement axles. I guess it was a good thing because I can change axles faster than a pro now.

Stock axles are fine for most people, as long as you arent making a ton of power and abusing the **** out of the car...$60 and lifetime warranty from autozone.

How long have you had those gators on your car? They holding up alright?

They have exactly 0 miles on them, but they should start getting some usage in about a week.

I would just buy autozones if i were you.
