You just pound it out from the outside (towards the car).
Just keep beating it like a redheaded step child and it will pop out the back. Then get the new one and bang it in the back. Sometimes you can put the new one in by using an open ended lug nut so you just tighten it in so it pulls the new bolt in.

So as far as on the fronts do I need to take all the hub and stuff off im guessing. As there is nowhere for the bolt to go. Woudl I have to take off the axle to do this? Thanks for the help.

According to Helms and what I have found you do need to remove the Hub. However, if you cut a corner off the back of the new stud, just a little bit, you can slide it in the Hub without removing the Hub. You can just beat out the old studs.

I have the same problem on my lude in the front on the passenger side... I recently tried removing the stud itself and had difficulty getting it out, so I just put it back to where it was and left it. Let us know if there are any tricks to this process. I heard someone say taht you needed a machine press to do this... do I? Thanks again!

remove the brake rotor and caliper. there's a spot behind the hub on the front of the knuckle where a stud can come out. just rotate the hub around if you're replacing more than one.

to get a new one in, it's easiest to take an angle grinder and shave off part of the head of the stud to slide it back in without screwing up the threads.

also, you can use '98+ camaro wheel studs since they're the same as the ours. and ARP wheel studs rock!

ive done this twice now, i just cut them and back them out the back...i never remove the hub. Don't listen to helms or haynes on somethings they just make it to diffcult. Like have you ever read on like random sh*t they tell you to disconnect your battery? lol makes no sense

Yup, I had to do this at a Pro Solo last year in Fontana. Had to borrow a Dremel from someone 'cause I left mine at home, and it took a little while, but it worked. FWIW, nobody had a socket large enough to remove the hub nut...not even the Naykid Racing team!!!
