what makes a nos bottle valve start to leak? is it from your bottle being full for an extended period of time?

too much pressure.

You will hear it when you have a leak . and sometimes you can see it frosting over where the leak is. depends on the size of it.

i think i have a leak cause when i fill my bottle it only last for 5 runs on a 75shot. and when i turn my bottle on and off the pressure goes up to 900 and if i dont purge it, the pressure will be all gone in about a 20 minutes.

i was also wondering whats the highest pressure you guys have had your bottle press. gauge say? mine reads barely under 900 when its full, and with the bottle heater barely over 900 except last time i put it in a bucket of ice for an hour, then filled it right after and i got it to say 1100. shouldnt my bottle heater make the pressure go up to 1200 though? what else can i use to make my bottle pressure be at 1200?

If it isn't leaking from the bottle, I would definitely check the solenoids. Did you use any sort of tape/paste on the threads?

IF YOU LEAVE THE NOS IN THE LINE IT WILL EVENTUALLY SEEP THROUGH THE LINE AND YOUR NOS WILL RUN OUT.

But not in 20 minutes.

Check all your fittings and make sure they are tight. Listen/smell for leaks also. You will be able to smell the sulfer.

if u dont use the bottle, it should not leak. if the valve is bad, it will leak, but a good bottle will hold it for a long time...not sure how long, but my cousin had a bottle full for over 2 years in his garage, and used it recently.
