going to get locked down for this one.. (advice desperatly needed)
Hey as many of you know or don't know i've been planning on the re-creation on my da9.. however I am soo F*cking stumped and don't know how to spend my $$$!! and its pissing me off.. ok to the point- as you know a da9 is a 2gen ls.. I was hoping to turbo her.. which is a very good idea (i know, best bang for me buck) however thoughts of getting a new car have crossed my mind.. a 3gen gsr was a option.. but too common now-a-dayz.. (no offense gen3 gsr owners, but u know its true) a itr was considered but not worth it in my opinion.. if im going to make payments i'd rather pick up a s2k or infiniti g35 coupe.. but thats another 5 years or payments that i honestly don;t wanna set myself up for.. but whilling to if it's the best route.. yes i know its confusing already.. anyways- now im seriously wanting to fix up the da-- and swapping a itr motor.. which would blow the sox off my engine now.. and in the long run be a beatufil engine and the performance would rock.. but watabout ls-t? that would be way fun aswell..
damn.
somone please gimme some insight on the big picture here.. i feel like im just wanting to do it all.. when i should just be concetrating on one route..
even if i were to get a new ride i wouldnt let my 2gen go.. thats my baby till the end.
-edit-
no flamez here plz.

If she's paid off, then do it!
Why bother getting another car, with someone else' problems?
DA can be a wicked looking car. One piece h/l, and a clean front lip makes for one of the nicest Integras ever. As for power, the only thing the DA lacks is the ability to run a hydro tranny which limits your options. Easy issue to take care of though, just call Hasport.

thank you.. finally someone helps a brotha out..
and theres always cable-to-hydro conversions.
woohoo!!
1 for the DA
0 for the new rides
how about the b18c5 vs. ls-t ?

man that does sound fun.. however how much does a properyly built ls/vtec going to addon to the 1,500+ of the turbo kit.. honestly not being sarcarstic if it sounds so.. pretty much what i want to know is how much more or less will it be compared to the itr swizap.
holla at yo boi!!

boooooooooooooost it!
If you have any sort of mechanical ability, and/or a friend who can weld, you can build your own turbo kit for cheap. A T28 with a properly designed IC, and piping will give you 200whp at 10psi (if setup and tuned properly). I built a T28 turbo setup for a customers LS last year. I left it at 6psi, and we g-tech'd at 175whp using a street tuned Hondata base map (guy was too cheap for a dyno). The car was a blast to drive, and the polished IC, piping, and turbo heat shield looks P.I.M.P.
