My keyless remote stopped working. I have changed the battery (and programmed per the owners manual), checked the fuse...still it won't work. The light on the remote does light up when the button is pushed. Any suggestions on what could be wrong?

 

did you change your radio to an aftermarket?

 

No, nothing has changed on the car.

 

Is it the Honda OEM control? Don't know if this helps, but if you want I have my two old ones laying around...they are yours if you want to try.

Maybe it's time for a new transmitter?

 

Yes it is the OEM control. It just happened a few days ago so I'm not ready to give up yet. Thanks for the offer.

I bought it new in March 1998.
