how many lbs of boost vs timing

how many lbs of boost vs timing
whats a safe number to drop the timing back per pound?
tried searchin but didnt come up with too much . is it like 1 degree for every 2 lbs of boost or somthing?

I have heard that as well as 1 degree for every pound of boost, im curious which is correct

i'm curios as well. i thought it was .75 degrees per lb of boost

it doesnt have to be a certain amount of anything. Every setup is going to be different in regards to compression ratio, displacement, turbo choice, etc....
typically i usually start with .75 degrees per psi for the average stock motor/ bolt on turbo kit (pump gas)

If anyone would know its this guy, so I am going to go by this. I assume higher compression = more timing out?

ill be running 10 lbs for now on 9:1 compression d16y8 fully built block , so what should i set at idle as my timing , do i take it back 10 degrees at idle???? or what , how will that work
