Eclipse 8443 (I think) in my 93 Accord SE. HU appears to be working fine, radio works fine, except there is no sound on CD's. It looks like it is playing, the screen shows track number and elapsed time on each track, but no sound. Anyone have any advice?

 

Speakers hooked up directly to it? Or are they going through an amp?

 

It is a Bose stock system, so there is a factory amp, otherwise stock. Again, not having any problems with it playing the radio, so I haven't figured the amp to be an issue. I was actually a little surprised that there are no RCA jacks on the factory HU, I guess Bose used line level inputs?

 

You hooked up the solid blue ant wire to the Bose amp turn on. Cut that loose then hook the blue with white stripe from the 8443 to the blue wire in the harness to the car.
The solid blue only has power when the am/fm is playing it turns off when you play a cd so the power ant will go down.
