Default Inline Pro SS T3 manifold OWNERS --- Look Here

Have any of you had problems with melting your dip stick since its rubber mount is essential wright between runner 1 and 2?

Maybe you should get a ricey billet dipstick from STR or something. I guess it wouldn't actually be ricey because it would serve a purpose in your application.

Trust me, it wouldnt be ricey for my application. Here is what my dip stick looked like before I got another OEM one:

I was actually considering getting the STR one since its design looks like the only thing that could melt on it is the O-ring that goes inside the dip stick tube, just didnt want to spend the 35 bucks on it, or whatever it cost at the time.

But what could cause my EGT's to be up there. The time that I had my mani get cherry hot was my stupid *** fault because I didnt sync my EMS with the cars timing so the ems was changing timing but it was way retarted.

I bent mine towards the block so it would not touch the mani.

I was thinking of getting some heat wrap and wrapping it around the tube, but then again, at that close proximity, it might be absolutely useless.

Is it just me or does it appear that the dipstick is wrapped in aluminum foil????
