need advice/info 14b turbo +d15b2 90 hatch
well, i got a decent 14b turbo from a 1g eclipse, 4x 450cc blue top injectors, and a drag fmic.
i think it would be, but anyone done this, is it a good turbo for this engine?
where can i get a turbo manifold for my d15b2 ? (somewhat cheap)
i know i will need to swap out my intake manifold for a mpfi.
what kind of engine managment?
how much boost can i do safely on stock internals and keep decent gas milage ?

A 14b is good turbo for your motor due to it being small you will be spool up faster,When it comes to max amount of boost I would limit it to around 6-8 psi some people claim more boost is possible but with alot of tunning and excellent E.M.U like hondata.But you must consider too with more boost brings the factor of how long it will last too.Now cheap turbo manifold one from a crx/civic hf they work great and can usually be picked up for $25 but then you have to do the proper modifying to make it work right or you can find them on ebay some times already modified for around $50-100.

14B ARE GOOD
i have it and love it
the problem is that the stock wastegate is about 10 psi and u wont be able to lower it with a stock wastegate unless uhave an external one
i can do the HF to 14B adapter plate
iwouldnt run no more then 5.5 psi on that motor
u can rn the VAFC hack unless u really want more boost or get a better motor

i figured it would be good , fast spooling smaller turbo and stuff, whats a hf manifold? how much whp would 5 psi make? im not lookin for alot. not on this engine..

You can modify an HF manifold with an adapter plate for a turbo..check out this site if you haven't already seen it
