is it possible to change the bearings with the motor in the car and trans attached still?

yes its possible. might be more of a pain than its worth though. head has to come off, pan, and then you have to deal with putting the crank in and out a few times over your head, no fun.

Yes it can be done.And the head doesn't need to come off.My question is why ??
