my hood won't open again!!! NEED HELP

Default my hood won't open again!!! NEED HELP

so my hood is not opening again, but this time it is not stuck, i am almost 100% positive the cable is disconnected or broken, now how do I open the hood so I can fix this?????

happened tome once, i have aftermarketbumper, so i was able to pull the the cable from the frontof the car. dont know how difficult it will be.

try reaching under your bumper to the cable and pull on it.

i've done all this, that's why i said i was almost 100% sure the cable was disconnected, maybe i should be a bit more clear, the cable is diconnected fromthe latch so what else can i do to try and open my hood. I am really tryingt o avoid taking it to Honda, they are talkign about $100 just to figure out why it won't open

what car is this on?? if it's 92-95 you're screwed, take it to honda. if its a 96-00, use a long-*** skinny screwdriver, and push on the thing that the cable usually pulls on to pop it. i've done this on my friend's 99 Si. 92-95s don't have a front grille, so you can't do it.

No prob, get the car on a hoist remove the plastic cover from the bottom of the bumper. This will allow you to see the hood latch, take a screwdriver and push the latching part to the left.. hood open
