Stock CD Player no Longer Plays My Burned CDs!!!
I have a 2003 Honda Civic with a stock cd player - when I first got the car I had no problems playing any cd's at all...Now I will literally put a cd in about 20 times and the cd player with eject it each time...Once in a blue moon it DOES play the burned cd's though, so I know it is not the cd that is the problem...I even had a problem playing a regular store-bought cd once...
Any ideas on why this is happening?? I need some answers before I break the whole dashboard! Is it possible that my laser beam just needs a cleaning???
Thanks for the help...

You might be buring the cd's at too high of a speed. Factory decks don't like cd burned at 24/48x. try buring on a lower speed and see if that works.

it could be you were using a cheap cd-r's. info burnt on them tend to fade with time. i've been using imation for years now and i have no problem. so go and spend extra with the known brand names..
