S2000 and stereo problem
Since the stock stereos suck in S2000s, I'm sure mot have replaced them with aftermarket. I just had Best Buy install a new deck, amp, and speakers in my 2003 S2K. When the car is not started, it sounds awesome. When the car is running, I get distortion and a 'whine' from the stereo. The sound gets worse as the engine revs. The technician says he tried everything (several components, running all wires out side the vehicle...nothing worked). He indicated that it is something in my car causing the problem. Any experience or advice?

sorta OT: its really quite sad that all these "experienced" installers at stores have trouble with simple little crap things like this. even when i had no clue what i was doing, installing my own head unit and amp and speakers, i NEVER had any noise from it. it has never happened on the 9 other cars i have put radios in either.
focking amazing what reading instructions can do for you...

that was your mistake.. im sorry but if you took this to a know shop in your area this would have never happened.
if you can get a FULL refund. and have it done right at a diff place.. not circuit city, or good guys.. but maybe a small mom&pop store that does quality work..
