Tilton clutch kit!
The 7.25 kit with flywheel, if im reading it correctly off of the titlon site, it says is a 6lb fly wheel. THAT SUCKS HORRIBLLY, if i would have known that i wouldnt have gotten it.

Does everyone on here use the rally version or the other on that is 8in+?
Are all the tilton 7.25 pressure plate the same? Thats how tilton lists them and I'm curious if they are used on other applications.

why?
having 200whp more than stock will make your engine rev faster.
you just have to watch your tach and know when to shift

Jordo, I think you should be alright. The few people that could afford that clutch on here have said that it's not too bad as a daily driver, actually that it was very streetable.
I guess he will put Hondata's rev limiter to the test
I know I did in my buddy's ITR and he had a stock flywheel but quite a bit more power.

you really can't judge a flywheel combo until you drive the car... Some combinations its gonna work nice w/, some it won't, some drivers love it, some can't control it..
Jordo, are you running an harmonic dampener on ur built engine? (like a fluidamper?)

That's exactly what I told Jordo. I told him if he likes it keep it and if he doesn't like it sell it. Don't keep something you don't like. Also, to my knowledge he doesn't need an aftermarket harmonic dampener on a stock bottom end
You probably thought this was his other built motor. I wish I had two B18c5 too

I just got my tilton twin disc, why are you asking about having a fluidamper? I'm just curious because mine is fully built and I can't afford to do it again. Thanks, Larry
Anytime you changed the geometry or the balance of the motor from one end to another end of the crank, you're risking is running your motor unbalanced. The stock dampener only able to counterweight close to similar setup, when you run tilton disc, you're changin the weight of one end about 12-13 lbs.
The fluidamper being liquid filled on the inertia helps counterbalance and reduce fritcion and wear on your bearings and oil pump.
I always try to offer the fluidamper with customer who bought or interested in the Tilton. For $ 350 they're a good insurance to have.

what are your reasons? Just curious. Exedy makes great products and so does Tilton.
