Default Camber kit for drag purposes = worth it?

As it stands, I've got -3 degrees of camber up front on my '98 GS-R. I don't get enough uneven tire wear to warrant investing in a camber kit for my daily driving, but I was wondering if it'd be a worthwhile investment for drag racing. I have trouble with launching, but I've only tried one set of tires (Advan A460's) since they were on the car when I got them and haven't worn out yet, so the problem may be in the tires and not because of the negative camber. I'm debating this because a decent camber kit + alignment could be better spent on trips to the drag strip/practice.

camber is very important for drag racing. you want as much of the tires contact patch to hit the ground as possible.
