what causes that and is there an easy fix. cause i heard someone say it'll cost $300 if i take it to a shop

 

check to see if the regulator (track the window goes up and down on) is blocked or something

its power
i dont think its the motor because it goes down some, then it starts clicking, like maybe something is blocking it from going down further. is there a way to check the path the window goes down to see if something is blocking it. or a fuse

 

Have you taken your door panels off before? If so, maybe when you put it back on your tightened it down to much. Happend to my friends. That or try taking it off and putting it back on.

i thought some windows only open 1/3 way.. ooh wait thats passenger windows...

 

for 4th gen accords all windows go down all the way.

 

never took my door panel off in my life. is that a difficult job?

 

Sounds like it is possibly your window regulator. Can you push the window the rest of the way down after it stops?

 

its not too hard. then again ive only done it with a special prying tool
its not hard to take it off, we had this problem on my friends civic. turns out the window was off track so we had to re-align it. good luck

 

yeah just pick up a chiltons or haynes manual and have at it, sounds like it might be the window regulator
