I looked through search and can't find a straight answer. I'm using 5w-30

right now, i'm about to start boosting in a couple of days . I want to

know whats the best engine oil or the oil everyone uses and has no

problem with it. Please reply only if you're sure of what you're talking

about.

 

I was advised to use Mobil-1 synthetic. 15w50 for the summer and 10w30 for the winter. Anybody else with insights on this matter?

I plan on running Advance Auto Brand 10w-30 year round, with an oil change every 2K miles. I simply cannot justify spending $5/qt on oil.

 

its all in what you like.. i like castrol and mobil 1... im running castrol 20w-50 in my b17a now it has 168k on it with boost.. but when i do my rebuild im going to run mobil 1.. its all in what u like..thats just my 2 cents

 

I always use Mobil 1 5w-30 , but whats good for the turbo.

Valvoline full synthetic 10w30. I tried Mobile and it doesn't feel right.

P.S. in grand turismo, when you change the oil...what oil do they change?
