I put it on the floorboard next to the old location, right below the passenger's feet under the carpet.

This is the closest it'll get out of sight. I'm sure you know the plastic panel isn't big enough to go over the EMS where the stock one would be.

I would mount it with zip ties under the dash, just in case you spill a 44oz. Big Gulp on the floor.

I have a 99 Si and the EMS fits perfectly with the supplied adhesive backed velcro behind the stock plastic ecu cover.

I have a 00 civic coupe and my ems fits in the stock location. It will fit you have to unclipp some wires from the body but the hard part is getting the panel to stay on since you can run the ecu bracket whish has the hole for the center push clip.n I glued a cover over the hole so it looks like a clip is in there

My EMS doesnt easily fit in the stock ecu location of the Integra. The EMS is bigger than the stock ECU making it impossible to fit behind the plastic ECU cover. But here is a picture of mine.

fwiw I think I angled mine so that the serial port pointed up. Also, heating the adhesive on the velcro strips up with a heat gun prior to application helped a lot. I like having a clipless "quick release" kick panel because in certain parking areas, the ems sleeps with me anyways My precision floormats assist in keeping the panel in place while in use.

The EMS fits in my 2000 SI. I connected the serial port cable to the EMS and put it facing down in the stock location. The wire harness connectors are on top. I then feed the white serial port wire up thru my glovebox so it is always accessible by opening up the glovebox. I can put the plastic floorboard cover back on but I can not use the push in thing that is right in the middle of it though.

My laptop sits on my passenger seat and I have enough wire from the serial cable to hook it up while the laptop is on my seat.

Keep trying !!! It works.
