Hey everyone,

I can use a new headgasket to clay my engine, correct? I threw away my old one from my blown engine, so will have to use my new Cometic.

You can re-use a headgasket 3 or 4 times correct?

Chad...who always used a new gasket...never re-used one.

You could, and probably be o.k., but after all the time and money that went into your motor, why risk it?

Why not just clay it without, and add in the gasket thickness to the clearance number you get? Like .060 + .030=.090
