your line and everything else looks great! One quick question though . . . what's that white stuff all over it?

Hope you didn't put that **** on the threads. Brass on brass fittings are supposed to be self sealing.

not somuch the brass on brass but the 37 deg flare is the seal so you should not need sealant if it leaks you need to look at the seats of the fittings brass digs real easy

Wait how come the oil feed and return looks like its at a very steep angle? Like 45 degrees? Is that safe?

I was thinking that too, but isn't the oil feed line pretty pressurerized?

Be carefull with those McMaster feed lines. I was reassembling my block and I noticed the fitting basically pushed itself out of the back of the tightening nut.

Danny (turbotyper) made the manifold he made it custom for his car, it's a damn good amnifold though he made 440whp and 304lbs of torque and it uses a 3"dp and still retains ac. My feed lines are from Stan.

Get studs for the head off an older Integra... makes putting the manifold on 100x easier...

Other than that, might want to turn the oil feed around toward the block, and everything else looks ok besides the sloppy honda-bonding.

Yeah I was thinking of studing the manifold. I will get all cleaned up once everything is running right.

The feed line looks pretty close to the turbo manifold... These SS braided lines are not invulnerable and will break down eventually from extreme heat. I would turn the fitting on the turbo more towards the block and run the feedline from under and behind the manifold. This will also eliminate the nasty bend on the line.

The Hondabond is fine, but absolutely unnecessary for flare (37 or 45 deg) fittings. But the hondabond will just be squished out of the way anyways as you tighten the flare fitting.

Lee,

the oil feed line look fine, if you can somehow get it away from the manifodl, the better you will be.

I would recommend a teflon tape/paste on the NPT threads ( to the turbo ) but do not put anything on the flared ends to the oil feed line. The 37 degree flare seals the connection.

hope this helps,

Stan
