Default What to do for more braking power?

hey guys i have a 94 civic si non-abs. i do a lot of mountain crossing and feel that i don't have enough braking power. my friend told me to just swap front with gsr knuckles but i want to know what you guys think. are gsr knuckles and master cylinder a good upgrade or should i look for something else?

Do you have 4 wheel disc stock?

If not just do a complete GSR swap and get all for rotors
Or if you want to shell out some cash you could ale=ways try and find a 5 lug type R conversion.

it just depends on how much money you want to spend

GSR calipers are a straight bolt on. add in better pads like Hawk HPS. = better braking

EDIT : is your car a coupe?

Aren't the Ex/Si front brakes the same size as the GSR? IIRC the caipers are slightly different though. Doesn't matter upgrading the pads and lines will make a world of difference. Much more than just swapping a set of the GSR's.

The GSR stuff is really good, and when combined with a good SS line kit, rotors and quality pads, it is one of the best setups for not too much dosh.

When you say GSR fronts what parts exactly? The whole entire knuckle? Rotors? Calipers?

Visit CobaltFriction.com and pick up a set of axxis ultimates, get some SS lines, and bleed your fluid.
