Default wtf mate?! BLEARRGGG, effed up pistons, not so 1337!!1!1!!!!1one!!two!@@@22!!

anyone explain this?

motor has stock sleeves (b18b), block gaurd, JE SRP pistons, eagle rods, acl bearings, fully built head - no redline but the car is taken to about 8200 daily. car ran great for about 8600 miles.

one day it started making this plunk plunk plunk plunk noise still ran fine, but we didn't liek the noise... tore the motor down and found the #1 piston looking like this. #3 has it slightly also. The picture doesn't do any justice of how many of these dings and such are on the bottoms.

help

Show us more pictures. Looks like bearing clearance was too tight.

when u spun bearings the pistons dont get smacked like that

he had something hitting the pistons from underneath pinging it

the rod would have change the color of the rod with the heat and the dude would have noticed it

i have spun many bearings.. i know...

IMO thats a very weird one... we cant just say waht happened with 1 lil ugly *** blury picture... we need to look at the bearings, cylinder surface, the oil and run a magnet thru it, etc etc etc
