Default can you run itb's without velocity stacks?

if so how will it effect the power and how well will it run?......... im ready to put mine on but i will lack the stacks for a lil bit...... will it be ok to run them or should i just wait?

you can run itb's w/o velocity stacks...they just help the engine get more air...you probably wont notice too big of a difference driving around town..but might notice it on the dyno..

it changes your powerband on the motor, may show a lil difference but no harm just less performance.

Actually, you would be suprised by what differences you get with the different depths and shapes of the Velocity stacks. they do make a bit of a difference without the stacks.

They do make quite a diff. but will run without them. What kind do you need?

Honda makes factory velocity stacks for the 954s? I just got mine in and I was debating on trading them for some gixxer itbs so I could seperate them and make it straight but I figured out a way seperate them...gonna have pix up soon so all the guys with the 954 itb setup stay tuned. besides, who wants to put Suzuki parts on their Honda. jk

yeah I noticed quite abit of difference with and without them when I ran my mikuni 44s. its plenty drivable each way but you can feel the diff throughout the power band IMO&gt;
