I was just wondering if anyone knew or has put a vortech supercharger f/an LS integra onto the type R. I was just wondering if it worked since they don't make one for the type R.

 

I looked into this before I decided to go all motor. this charger was a lot of hype and supposedly they were gonna make one for the R, but they never did. i think most people tend to go with the JRSC or just go turbo. I know someone had the vortech on their R but it wasnt that impressive, less power than the SI kit I believe. try searching around the archives.

 

I will have dyno numbers at the end of the month....My buddy has a vortech on his 00 runing a 10lbs pulley with some other mods.

On vortechs site they made a kit for the R

 

Just my opinion...

Vortech = dyno queen. Impressive peak numbers, but only at high rpm. If you're set on a charger, a properly-tuned Jackson will give you more usable gains.

 

Damn lower numbers than an Si, I'd have to shoot myself! No my buddy has an Si and plans to Vortech it and I could never let his little civic be faster than the R. Also to Splat I heard from a few people that JRSC is sometimes unreliable?

 

Can you post his numbers and dyno chart as soon as he's gets it run. And does he have any pics of the charger on the car and just pics of the car in general that can be posted?
