Double clutching is used for operating a "crash-box" in other words, a gear box that has un-synchronized gears. Since all cars I know of these days have synced boxes, it is a useless technique, there is no reason to do it, unless you want to waste time or are driving a very large truck.
Basically, you press the clutch, put the gearbox in neutral, release the clutch, press the clutch again and then put it into gear... so basically your just "double Clutching" to get to the next gear..

Ahhhhh. I hurt his poor lil feelings. Don't be a Butt-hurt Bettie. There's no reason to be a dick. Dick.

I understand that using the search would have probably been a better idea. It still doesn't give you the right to your get your panties bunched.

Thanks Queensy. This is why people join forums in the first place. So they can ask questions w/o being made to feel stupid.

LSVTEC 91, I hope you sit on your nuts.

Once you've been here for more than a day, you'll notice a lot of questions like yours get asked all the time because people refuse to use the SEARCH button. Once you are a "regular" here, you'll be wishing people would use the search function to answer their F&F questions yourself.

P.S. Quit picking up ideas from that movie. Nobody can stand to lose too many braincells.
