I currently have a tial 35mm wastegate with a .3bar(small yellow) spring in it. I currently installed an apexi avcr and im going to be hittng the dyno for some tuning. My question is what is the max boost i can run safetly with this spring and my boost controller?

BTW i already search and really didn't come up with a definite answer.

 

A little more than double your wastegate spring pressure, or .6~.7bar.

 

My spring is good for 4.5psi, so the max it will hold is 9psi with a boost controller? and that may be pushing it right?

 

so would this be the same if i ran an 11 psi spring on a 35 mm tial?? I"m planning on running about 22 psi on race gas w/ that spring, WG, and an MBC...
