Default what motor should i buy.

I dont know what motor to buy. i have a 98 civic ex. i ve been saving up to buy a b18c5. but people have told me a h22a with some minor mods makes as much power as the type r for less, and is easier to swap in. i definatly do not have a deep bank account so i want something that will last and produce the power im looking for.

It's definaltly not cheaper to actually swap in the h22, but the motor itself is cheaper than the b18c5.. I'll be the first one to say, you are not starting off too well on h-t... Why don't you look at all the other post's cuz I think I see 10 of these kind's of post a day... IMO I think that you should turbo that bitch.. Go with the edelbrock or fmax kit.
