Default check engine light. help????????

well, the other day i got a valve adjustment and everything was fine until was on my way home i notice the check engine light came on and then my car was acting funny. well i was pulling into my house and i opened the hood to discover my spark plug wire was off of the distributor cap and then i put it back on the light went off and everything was fine. i have 10100 miles on it. well tonight it came back on it blinks once and then comes back on, it seems to give me 1 blink!! anyone know what to even though i have all the mods on my car? i cant take it to the dealer with all this stuff on.

Check the engine light code. Your ECU is located in the kick panel on the passenger side. Unplug the diagnostic port from it and bridge the gap in the end of the port with a piece of wire or paperclip or something. Once that is done turn the power on. The check engine light will flash the code number. The code will be a two digit number the first digit will be short flashes and the second will be long flashes. Then the code will repeat. Hybrid honda has a list of the check engine codes, from there you can diagnos your problem.
