Does a y7 head fit a z6 block? i was wondering just for kicks for my friends ride we have a blown z6 head and had a y7 just sitting around. any replies would be great. thanks

 

The head will fit the block, if memory serves, the distributor will not line up properly (at least it's that way on the y8). I would say "but you'll lose your vtec, but then again, if the z6 head is blown, you already have.
