Default 95 civic cx, need helpppppppp

hey i just got a nice lil red hatch for 3.2k$ has 40k miles on it, and its a 95 civic cx. anyways, im kinda pissed off about the fact that its a cx and it has 8valve engine, and ppl give me so much **** about it, what can i do to my car to shut them up without spending too much, and most importantly where can i get them from? im not looking for a full engine swap or anything like that but just basics, like intake and ****. plz help

if im thinking right the d15b8 is an 8 valve engine, but has pistons with 4 valve reliefs each.

therefore if you dont want to swap an entire engine... do a head swap.

but your tranny will still be somewhat on the shitty side. id just save for a d16z6 swap... maybe $3-400 depending on where you are located.

Drop in a D16Z6 (SOHC VTEC) and then go from there...that motor has a lot of potental.

Might have better luck in the EG + forum but look on the bright side...The 92-95 civic CX's and VX's are the lightest of the 92+ hatches so just upgrade the power plant

Swap. Plain and simple. You must swap.

Actually the d15b8 has 2 valve reliefs, b7 has 4,
