Default running 75 shot, blew motor, what happened?

ok so i was running a 75 shot on my d16y7 with upgraded plugs and wires, thats it. then the motor just shut off by itself in the middle of spraying. i restarted it and it wouldnt stay running unless i kept my foot on the gas and was running poorly when accelerating like on 3 cylinders. what do you think happened? the motor is now out of the car but im just curious to see what you guys think got damaged. anything internally?

Did you even check the plugs before pulling the motor?

Did you retard the timing? I melted the ring lands off two pistons on a 90 shot. It would barely stay running and it sputtered a lot. good luck man

Were you running a wet or dry kit? Probably a dry and it leaned out burnt a plug. I ran several bottles of 75 wet shots in my 91 lude with no problems. When things go wrong with nitrous, it's usually lean or to big a shot. But the plugs should reveal all.

well, the truth is it happened to my friend and i want his motor for a rebuild. i dont know exactly what happened or what he checked, thats all the info i have i was just looking for examples of what might have happened. what are the chances that the block is still good. i mean that i can put in new pistons and rods including bearings and rings and have it be strong again. what usually is fucked over from something like this happeneing
